DESCRIPTION:What is Convention?\nConvention is an annual opportunity for al
 l members\, family\, and friends to get together.  It is essentially a c
 hance for quartets and choruses to compete in a supportive and friendly wa
 y and is often a riot of colour and complex choreography.\n\nIn addition t
 o competition\, Convention also includes a schedule of education sessions 
 led by our own education team\, often supported by external educators and 
 our VIP guests.  All of this is topped off with a fabulous show\, showcas
 ing our new champions and amazing guests.\n \nAs if that wasn't enough\, 
 each evening sees an opportunity to Afterglow - a traditional end to any b
 arbershopping day when singers and guests meet to chat and sing until the 
 early hours - with old friends and new.\n\nThe event is open to all\, with
  the opportunity to drop in for a day or be immersed in both competition a
 nd education sessions for a full fun-packed 3 day weekend. \n\n\nExternal
